 ] is a reference to an anonymous array that contains the
values in @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
  \@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
 is a reference to @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
 the usage that the OP gave, there is NO DIFFERENCE between the two.
