That is one opinion, but not my opinion.
I suggest your talk about that with people who know
both languages and their libraries inside out.

As I explaind already, my critical points about Pascal's
****tability start with the language itself (else/otherwise
clause for case statements, file buffer variables, and
other stuff). OTOH in C there are not such issues (as long
as you refrain from using Microsofts (and others) extensions).
IMHO avoiding extensions of the language in C is easy while
in Pascal it is sometimes unavoidable.

Just to show that I do not see C as perfect language.
I have a lot of critical points about C:
- Not very intuitive syntax for declarations
  (specially when pointers are involved)
- "interesting" implicit cast logic
- The size of 'int' and 'long' is not specified
  in the standard (I know that it can be obtained
  but that is something different).
- division operators (/ and %) which allow two
  implementations if negative values are involved
  (at least according to the C89 standard, I have not
  found a C compiler that uses this freedom)
- and much more
