Well, I think I will install GNU Pascal too and look how it works out.

At the moment it is too early to say which way my programming will  
lead me to. Maybe later on a choice will be necessary.

I think it was not so surprising that TurboPascal was such a great  
success at its time, the extentions created by Borland had quite to do  
with that - besides the terrific fast compiler of course. (I still  
remember how astoninglishly fast a program was compiled on my small  
pc).
