WHAT IS IT:

IP Pascal is a new implementation of an old Pascal that began in 1980.
It is completely ISO 7185 compatible (standard, unextended Pascal), with:

* Full modularity

* Dynamic length array handling and parameter passing

* Built in ****ting library

* Many common extentions

* High efficiency output code (full compiler)

* Embedded code sup****t

IP Pascal has undergone a full makeover that brought it up to modern
needs. Unlike many commercial compilers, it is fully standards compliant.

The first version of IP Pascal available to the public is the demo/student
copy, which will be available in Q2 of this year on Windows. The
demo/student version will be limited in the number of lines it can
compile (a few pages), which will be sufficient either to perform a
demo of the system, OR to compile common student programs.

IP Pascal contains a full ****ting system that allows graphical, windowed
programs with sound and Internet access to be constructed that work
across multiple operating systems. The programs written to the ****ting
library are "write once, run anywhere", but with the efficiency of
a full compiler.

There is a version of IP Pascal that currently works under Linux, and
a Macintosh OS/10+ version is planned in the near future.

Until the demo is available, I invite you to preview the implementation
on this very detailed web site, with several example program runs.
