Think Pascal Build problem

by Anony-mouse <anony-mouse@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 23, 2004 at 04:13 PM

I wonder if anyone here knows the answer to this one.

I'm trying to write a small Pascal application that plays a sound. I've
added Sound.p (and some other .p files that one uses) to my project and
added the Uses line to my program's main file:

      uses
        Sound;

to the top of my program, but whenever I try to Build or Check the
project I get this error message:

     "Compiler variable not defined"

with the thumbs down icon next to the "Sound;" line.

I know I've used sounds in projects before, but that would have been
way back in the days of System 7 and now I'm using MacOS 9.2.2 with
Think Pascal updated to version 4.5a1.

If I remove the Uses and appropriate sound code then everything works
fine.
