bruce i think you're right it brought some problems, which i cant trace
how it happened. all fields are string data type. for the time i just
convert them to time using strtotime(...) function. then on posting im
using the function formatdatetime(...).

btw, im using dbase 5 and mdx .

with regards to the with function what seems to be wrong w/ that algo?
are you trying to say that if locate(...) then .... wont workout
correctly if with is written before hand
