but the OP asked for advanced stuff. that can either mean on
compiler(-environment) or language or in general.

last textbook i bought for TP related stuff was german book "turbo
bascal intern" by "michael tischer" - it came with 5.25" discs :)
but one of best i ever got is "the design and analysis of computer
algorithms" by "aho, hopcraft, ullman"
both can be considered "advanced" stuff (the "tp intern" is of course
outdated now), but in very different meaning.
