Well, actually I already found a sight that I downloaded from, it
probably wasn't legal also (can't remember the site--it wasn't the
French one).
However, it doesn't suite my purpose if it's not free. You see I want
to include a free compiler in a commercial Pascal Package that I'm
working on. (Obviously the compiler will be added to the package, but
will be free). If TP 7.0 is not free, then I can't use it. I could try
with Free Pascal Compiler, but that's a bit big and not as nice as TP
7.0. TP 5.5 is outdated and I hate the fact that it only works in DOS
after a complete shutdown.
All the other's aren't fully compatible with Borland's version of
Pascal, and would not suite my purpose.
Someone mentioned buying it on E-bay--unfortunately I'm in Zimbabwe--
that's not an option. They don't even have credit cards down here--so
there's no buying online for us! We've just got to choose free
resources from the net.
Also, you mentioned you had it, but on obsolete medium. What's
obsolete to you? Those 5 1/4 disks! Huh, the computer I'm using to
send this message now still has the capacity to handle those things.
To amaze you all, I'm running Windows 95 on a 486 computer--and to
make you laugh--it only has a 33 Mhz processor with 16 MB of Ram!!!
The speed drives me insane with modern day technology. (Not to mention
3 1/2 floppy disks are still in use. CD-Roms are slightly old news,
but DVD's seem like new technology here! They're probably getting old
in the U.S.)
If anyone wants to send me a new computer or laptop, you're more than
welcome!!!
