This will only work for DOS compatible printers however, while more and
more
printers nowadays are GDI (AKA Windows-Only).
GDI printers simply are not smart enough to understand an ascii data flow
as
input, but needs something generated by the Windows driver itself.
To print from DOS to this kind of Windows printers (as well as DOS
compatible printers without having to use the command above), you may want
to have a look at Printfil.
