A driver translates specific hardware behaviour into something DOS or
Windows can understand. And vica versa. ATI and Geforce use different
hardware to display pictures. And drivers take care of it that a
programmer doesn't have to bother about that.
So you first have to find out what signals those mice use to tell the
PC what they are doing. A simple program that tells what signals are
sent to each COM ****t can do the trick. Then you have to find the
relation between the signals and what the mice are doing.
Knowing the relation you can work the result into your program.
