Thank you for this information.
I see that there has been that usual voting process about the new
newsgroup creation. Yet I see no reference about any discussion for need
for some weekly FAQ-posting. Wide weeksly postings, that should be
started, and should cover eleven different newsgroups.

Real and usable newsgroup FAQ's work per newsgroup basis. I see them
appear on several newsgroups, everywhere. But I do not know any other
place having to bear with this kind of weekly spam over dozen different
newsgroups. A repeating nuisance that has been going on here for 5
years.
Some of these Pascal derived newsgroups already do have this kind of
FAQs. Even though they are useful, and bear some useful beginner info on
them, they are only posted once in two months or something.
There is no such info on those weekly Timo Salmi "FAQ"'s that would
cover all these Pascal derived newsgroups.
I can understand that some Turbo Pascal newsgroups may want to have that
kind of posting, to prevent wrong kind of messages to appear there. Yet
this posting should ne limited to those specifis newsgroups only,
without sending the unwanted minor user group message to every Pascal
related newsgroup.

I agree completely with this statement. These are newsgroups for
discussions!
Yet there is no mentioning *anywhere* about those weekly postings that
Timo Salmi's script currently does.
I believe that I have been clear enough when telling that I want to get
rid of these weekly postings.
And I am not completely alone with this opinion. Even though there has
not been any real, open and wide voting about this matter.
