I'm investigating oberon-V4 after years of using ETH-Sys3.
The linux based version runs OK.
V4 seems cleaner, without the many add-ons, which I suppose
S3 used for student's projects ?
I'm not getting any answers nor traffic from the mailing list,
and I'm wondering what key on a standard PC does LF for
non-identing editing whereas CR does indenting ?
I read that slim-binaries/juices is 'redundant' now.
I can't see why, and I suspect that a US comany/Uni. has
patented it ? It sounds like a great idea, and just scanning
thru some of the iOP*.Mod looks as if V4 uses slim binaries,
because they seem to generate code for a virtual machine.
Does any one here have any comments ?
