My client is looking for 2 Cache developers and 4 Administrators. This
is a minimum one year on site contract position at Texas and
Pennsylvania. No remote work. Rates are around $50-$65 per hour on
1099 (all inclusive; no travel, relocation expenses. And the
consultant will responsible to pay his taxes).

* Current versions of Cache (v5.2 and later) and VMS (v7.3 and v8.3)
* HP Alpha and Integrity Server hardware
* Cache and VMS clusters
* Production and support of large Cache environments supporting multi-
tier architecture
* Technical project management
* Cache database configuration and administration including hardware
setup, product installation, database configuration
* ECP and network configuration, including security setup
Cach=E9 System Admin Tasks:
1) Configuring Cach=E9
i) New Database Creation
ii) New Namespace Creation
iii) Configuring System Information (Memory and StartUp)
2) Managing Cach=E9
i) Managing Local Databases
ii) Backup and Shadowing Strategies
iii) FailOver Strategies
iv) Checking Database Integrity
3) Uploading and Migrating Databases
Cach=E9 Developer Tasks
1) Developing applications using Cach=E9 Object Script (COS)
2) Developing applications using Cach=E9 Server Pages (CSP) or Weblink
3) Report Development using Globals or Crystal Reports
4) Developing applications using .NET and JAVA
5) Migrating Databases
6) developer should have good experience in developing web services
using Cache SOAP and XML
7) Experience in using Cache RoseLink is desirable.
8) Good knowledge of Object Oriented concepts.
Responsibilities include testing and supporting Cache environments on
HP VMS based systems. Various Cache environments supported include,
but are not limited to, development, validation, unit test and
production. Programming experience is preferred but not required.
