Many people, including me, refuse to have anything to do with Yahoo
because of their outing pro-democracy dissidents to the Communist
Chinese government.  I'm frankly rather surprised their principals
aren't in federal prison for being Communist agents.

Not to mention their sending a constant barrage of ads to all their
subscriber, filling list archives with more ads, and even appending
ads to messages sent from every yahoo.com email address and more ads
to every Yahoogroups message.

Any good ISP, such as the one I am using, Panix, will filter out the
far smaller amount of junk in this newsgroup.

Even if there were nothing objectionable about Yahoo, having several
competing forums for discussing MUMPS isn't doing anyone any favors.
