How many modula-3 users are out there?

Hello folks

I`ve read a bit in this usergroup and I`m curious how many activ
modula-3 users/programmers are out there in the world?
Is this language still activ teatched at universities or anywhere else?

I know pascal and even Ada is "popular" at universities. But never
heard of Modula-3.
Why should someone switch to modula-3 when there are better solutions
out there? 
Have a look at the freepascal compiler.
