I've just forgotten to detail the status of my CM3-for-SA1100 ****t:

Beside the backend, I have built also the m3core, libm3 and m3gc-simple
which showed up as enough to build some test programs which appear to run
quite good on the target except for the floating point. Details about the
FP problem are in my previous post.
