Yes I had built X11R4.
I solved the prob by re-installing the whole of cm3 from source and all is
now working.
Curious,

Has Modula-2, caught up and have networking, GUI and database modules, or
is
this only
in modula-3. I last used modula-2 12-14 year back and haven't seen it
since.
