problems with SOLgnu and multi-platform installation in a single filesystem

by Henning Thielemann <iakd0@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 29, 2003 at 10:55 AM

Could someone successfully install the latest CM3 package on Solaris?

We have a heterogenous network consisting of SUN/Solaris and IntelPC/Linux
machines which share the same home directories. I have locally installed
cm3 and since the source files are platform independent I'm interested in
using the same cm3 tree for SOLgnu and LINUXLIBC6 development. The cm3/bin
and cm3/lib directories don't have target dependent sub-directories. :-(
If I add them and modify cm3.cfg accordingly I may run in trouble when the
next cm3 package comes out, won't I?
