Dear fellow modulans,
I have recently acquired a Vista laptop, and when I copy over my exact
same set of files and libraries from my trusty Windows 2000 machine,
and try to link my code, i get an error message about UUID.LIB not
being able to be opened, and then the linker (SBLINK) fails. Has
anyone else encountered linking issues under Windows vista? I figured
it was a permissions issue, so I went an opened up permissions to
"total control" on the folder containing the library, which in this
case is a microsoft visual C 5 library folder.
