Turbo Delphi is basically Delphi 2006, but only with one target (C++ OR
Delphi OR
Delphi.NET OR C# OR ASP.NET).

The "free" version is the same as the regular one without the ability to
install own designtime components.

Btw, for FPC see also lazarus.freepascal.org for the RAD/IDE.

Some features might also sneak in via the Extended Pascal route.

(FPC uses gdb, still mostly using stabs, but the transition to DWARF is
well
underway. Afaik the debugcode is easily enumarable, a postprocessor that
corrects the debuginfo might also be an option. But I prefer "in-fpc"
solutions to src2src ones)
