Don't know, and I don't realy understand why  - you save work,
you already have a good part if not all of RTL (well write interfaces
but that's not that difficult)
and you are sure to have compatible code as the same final tool did the
job.
Said that, I won't argue about translators / compilers etc  ... Too was
already written
You just want to write your code in the language of your choice, with a
tool that checks
 your program and a processing that makes it runable and correct,
point.

1- No it doesn't compile itself, only parts -  I should rewrite in
pascal the IO part,
 I've no time and it's not my first todo planed.
If you download examples you've seen that I took a workaround using
directly
'WRITE' statements to see what was going on. Until now it's possible
just because
there is no semantic check, next time I'll have to procure a .DEF file
2 -  most is developed on a ECom Station using Canterbury MOD32 I
bought some years ago (native  - not java, I think the same is still on
hobbes or os2Site ) -> ECS/OS2 exe  ; Then I recompile with XDS to have
the win32.exe
