A "Via Pascal" Modula 2 Compiler ?

Hello,

I'm working on a "Via Free Pascal" Modula 2 compiler - to say the
truth, just now, it doesn't compile - it parses, and translates to
something that most of the times is happily compiled by FPC, and run
(no semantic checking, but it will do some day  .... :+).
In fact I had to try a little and prove the concept before going
forward.
Now I'd wanted some feedback, see if I'm realy alone in a Modulaless
world or not ... and have exchanges about the idea and howto ...
I  sent a first usable draft to  modula.org  site, and Franck Schoojans
kindly put a pointer on Free Modula page  - have a sight if interested.
I will soon post a new release (this one is buggy when translating
while statements block, I corrected the OS2 version but not the Win32
one) .  If you want to mail me directly you can do so also in french or
spanish.

The name of the project (Modula as First language) is also the program

WHY  I  began this project ?

- Well, simply,  I LOVE and I WANT to write my code in MODULA 2  ...
but

-  Modula 2 compilers are growing old, disapear one after the other and
I can't cope with the idea .
-  Pascal is not so perfect, (for some reasons N Wirth created Modula)
but, not the worst
- Free Pascal is avalaible on a lot of platforms, so for a relativly
"low cost" you can have your code runing on just the machine you have
or you  want..
