No they hadn't. All these are still versioned (e.g. NT4=4.0, windows 2000=
NT5.0, XP=NT5.1, win2003=NT5.2, Vista=NT6.0, don't know what w2008 is, 6.1
probably, though vistasp1 is supposed to be roughly equal to w2008)
So do not confuse versioning with monikers you communicate to the outside.
