This code doesn't make me nervous.
It would however were it written in supposedly good Forth style (70%
of the words are one liners with stack comments) and no general
explanation of what is going on,

See, C gives away still a lot information about data flow and
program structure.

If this sample shows anything then it is the need for more
comprehensive do***entation (and maybe object oriented
coding style) for all but the simplest programs.
