Hi dsasorin,
Here is a working link to the article hrh1818 spoke of, <a

target="_blank"> How
to measure a</a>
<a href="http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7115"
target="_blank">temperature with an RTD</a>.
It?s a great resource for RTD measurements.
RTD sensors require a constant current
excitation to operate. The USB-6210 does not have an internal constant
current
source. You can use the USB-6210 to measure the voltage across the RTD but
you
will need to provide an external current source to excite it. This is why
your
DAQmx Task errors when you set the current excitation source to internal.
If
you need a USB DAQ device that can provide the current excitation take a
look
at the <a href="http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/205189"
target="_blank">USB-9219</a>. Please let me know if you have any
questions.
Thanks,
