I do not want NI shortcuts directly under "programs" in my start menu(Start
-> Programs -> National Instruments)
if i move them to a sub-folder(Start -> Programs -> Applications
-> NI), then try to run visual basic 6, windows starts trying to
install the LV runtime engine; if allowed to install, the datasocket
shortcut re-appears on the start menu.
if i simply leave the NI DataSocket shortcut where it was originally
everything works fine
this is pissing me off bigtime. i don;t use data socket, all i want
is to be able to talk to my GDMF daq card with VB6. wtf, ni
