I'm trying to put a menu onto my frame in Java SE under NetBEans 5.5. I
follow the instructions perfectly, and I click on the menu object on the
AWT pallette, but when I click on my frame, in the design editor, the menu
doesn't appear. This problem happens for the pop-up menu as well.
If I follow that procedure, to create any other control, it is created as
it's supposed to be. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is there
something else that I need to do first, to enable my ability to create a
menu?
