Our best strategy at this stage, as far
as providing best service to our end
users who have Java 1.3, would be help
them upgrade to a more recent version.

The deployJava.js* does just that (from
a web page), as best as Sun can engineer
it and provide feedback to the end user
(e.g. not all machines can be upgraded).
