NetBeans Java build on Mac for Windows

A Windows application I've been developing on a Mac seems to have a 
problem installing a workable jai. Apparently one of the jai jars (it 
uses jai_codec.jar and jai_core.jar) that the Mac version of NetBeans 
tries to use is fine on Mac but has problems on Windows.

I'm running MacOS 10.4.8, Java 1.5.0_06, and NetBeans 5.5. Can anyone 
give me pointers on Mac build, Windows run Java issues in NetBeans?
