The JPDF allows software developers to add a comprehensive printing
capability to existing Java applications.
The JPDF is:
* Able to preview and print Swing components (e.g. JTable, JTree,
JTextPane, JTextArea, JEditorPane, and JPanel).
* Able to generate re****ts containing data obtained from external
sources (e.g. databases and files).
* Designed to provide a printing capability with a minimum of custom
coding required.
* Highly extensible/customizable to meet application-specific
printing requirements.
In this release an ability to compose and print forms (e.g. an Invoice
form) has been added to the existing re****ting
capability. Many minor improvements have been made to the print-
rendering of Swing Components (particulary JTables, JTrees, and
JPanels). This release has been tested and verified to work under JRE
6. All known bugs have been fixed.
