The ActiveBPEL engine (http://www.activebpel.org)
is a Business
Process Management (BPM) runtime environment for executing process
definitions created to the WS-BPEL 2.0 or BPEL4WS 1.1 specifications.
It is written in Java and released under the GPL.
ActiveBPEL.org LLC announces the release of ActiveBPEL 3.0 Milestone 2
(M2). M2 provides full sup****t for the WS-BPEL 2.0 specification as
well as continued sup****t for the BPEL4WS 1.1 specification. Active
Endpoints has also released a Beta version of the ActiveBPEL Designer.
This free, fully functional beta includes sup****t for the creation and
deployment of WS-BPEL 2.0 and BPEL4WS 1.1 process definitions and
assists with the migration of BPEL4WS 1.1 process definitions to the
new WS-BPEL 2.0 standard.
Version 3.0 Milestone 2 of the ActiveBPEL engine is now available at
http://www.activebpel.org/download/.
If you get an error message in the Tomcat console about the database
version being wrong, then you need to run one or more of the patch SQL
scripts found in projects/ddl.org.activebpel/ddl/patches. Run the
scripts in numerical order, starting at the patch after your current
database version number. Running these scripts will preserve all of the
data in the database.
