ActiveBPEL.org LLC announces the Milestone 1 release of ActiveBPEL 3.0,
which introduces sup****t for the WS-BPEL 2.0 specification. For details
on what is included in the release please see the ActiveBPEL roadmap

In addition to
this milestone release Active Endpoints is making available a preview
of the free ActiveBPEL Designer 3.0 with sup****t for the creation and
deployment of WS-BPEL 2.0 process definitions.
The ActiveBPEL=99 engine (http://www.activebpel.org)
is a Business
Process Management (BPM) runtime environment for executing process
definitions created to the WS-BPEL 2.0 specification. It is written in
Java and released under the GPL.
Version 3.0 Milestone 1 of the ActiveBPEL=99 engine is now available at
http://www.activebpel.org/download/.
If you get an error message in the Tomcat console about the database
version being wrong, then you need to run one or more of the patch SQL
scripts found in projects/ddl.org.activebpel/ddl/patches. Run the
scripts in numerical order, starting at the patch after your current
database version number. Running these scripts will preserve all of the
data in the database.
