Well, FWIW my laptop battery has 4400 mAH @[EMAIL PROTECTED]

234,432 J. But considering that it takes a 1kW microwave
about a minute or so to pop popcorn (it's been awhile,
though, and I use about 1/4 cup of popcorn as opposed to
"a few kernels"), I'd say there has to be a trick involved;
there's no way those phones are throwing out more than
1 kW ... and they probably aren't even thowing out more
than a few hundred milliwatts, if that.
