You should probably read the article again.
It talks about the "soon to be released" netbooks.
Nothing about them being popular, or even in the stores. And, as
before, most people miss the point.
We as individuals don't trust others to store our data. The first
adjunct hardware that came out for the NC was, a floppy drive.
Kind of killed the idea behind the thing pretty quickly. And as was
also pointed out, when software wants to start making use of brand new,
whiz bang hardware, you still have to "upgrade". In the case of the NC,
that meant whole new machines.
No, you want it, fine. Not for this for this boy.
