I agree with ZDNet. When you visit a website containing a flash
animation you don't get an icon in the Windows tray. But if you visit
a site running an applet you get an icon. Why? Java needs to stay in
the background. I have wanted to uninstall Java just because of that
annoying icon in the tray.
