Certainly no! I relly don't know why Java is not _the_ standard
environment for most types of desktop apps. There are very few fields
where there could be performance Problems: Games and number crunching.
Sometimes it could be a problem that there is no standard way for
accessing all types of interfaces, for example in technical applications.
