Meh. While "none" might not know what he's talking about, listening to 
analysts on Apple is almost always a waste of time. Most of them don't 
really know how to properly analyze a company which doesn't announce its 
future plans more than a few months in advance and which bases a 
substantial part of its business model on creating new markets where its 
competitors don't think they exist.

A lot of them are also spec sheet bullet point counter types, which 
means they completely fail to understand the major advantages Apple's 
products have in areas like hardware/software integration and user 
experience. On top of that they often have a very shallow understanding 
of the dynamics of the markets they analyze, and fail to account for 
things like network effects, format lock-in, etc. that constitute major 
forces in the IT world.

Is it really that implausible that someone might be sitting on their 
couch with their iPhone, watching TV and browsing the web when the 
commercials come on? Or, I can easily see myself pulling out an iPhone 
to check something on the web at a friend's house -- without having to 
ask if I can go into the other room and use the computer.

WiFi is available in many places where people won't necessarily have 
laptops with them, or won't want to take one out.
