Technical 3D demo using Java + Flux X3D/VRML player + Ajax

by "DepthOfVision" <Mark.MC.Casselman@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 27, 2007 at 09:15 AM

I am tying to integrate Ajax, a Java applet and a 3D viewer (Flux X3D/
VRML Player). I was able to make it work locally on IE6 and 7. It does
not work on Firefox (yet). The reason it does not work online is due
to security reasons (reading the webservice from a different
location).

In the demo you can add a box, a sphere, a small number of music
groups and finally a large number of music groups similar to U2. The
last one uses a webservice from last.fm.

Check out this technical demo at http://depthofvision.googlepages.com/.
