Hi folks,
Just as a 'public service announcement': I was quite suprised to see
that questions for the IDL language sold by ITTVIS are being posted in
this newsgroup. Historically, this newsgroup has been used for the
Interface Definition Language, which, to be honest, is something i
have no idea at all about. The IDL sold by ITTVIS is the Interactive
Data Language, and it's "official" newsgroup is comp.lang.idl-pvwave.
There are some very nice, very experienced IDL programmers posting
there, and yes plenty of ENVI knowledge to be found. A *LOT* of the
questions that have gone unanswered in this newsgroup would've been
answered very quickly if they'd have been posted on comp.lang.idl-
pvwave.
