Can IDL read an MPEG movie into memory as a set of frames? is the
executive summary...
Looking through the help, the MPEG object looks to be a way of creating
MPEG movies, but I'm not interested in that, and the ITT web site
suggests I'll need a special license to use MPEG functionality, but for
now I'd just like to know if a simple read of an existing file can be
done functionally?
