Hi Mona,
The aster 1A data is in raw DN's and delivered as an HDF formatted
file.

The coefficients required for conversion from DN's to radiance data
should be included in the HDF and can be applied in ENVI. There
should also be geolocation information for geometric corrections.

From the LP DAAC site - it seems that they correct for the staggered
SWIR/TIR in the Level 0 processing flow.
