Folks,
I've had a picture of myself on a spiffy new Dutch bike
on my web page for a couple of weeks now.

But today I got two e-mails about it, which is about,
gosh, two million percent more e-mails than I have ever
gotten about a picture before. Laurens de Groot took issue
with the fact that I could be riding such a "lame" bike in
Holland, of all places. But then he saw another one
just like it near where he works. He jumped out with
his IDL books (alas, not mine, or he would be on the
front page with me) and took a picture of it and him.
Two e-mails!? Could be the start of something big.
People around the world posing with dorky bikes and
IDL books. I'll post them, if you send them in. :-)
