Folks,
I have a friend who is continually on my case about TVImage.
Usually it's about mismatched quotes that EMACS
is complaining vociferously about, or some such nonsense
like that. I'm tired of hearing from him.
So, while up at 2AM, unable to sleep over the nightmare of
mismatched quotes, I decided to throw everything but
the kitchen sink into TVIMAGE and be done with it. I don't
expect to hear from him again. :-)
So, now there is a SCALE keyword (so he doesn't have
to type "TVScale" instead of "TVImage", presumably) that
scales the image prior to display. My reason for not
including this previously was because I didn't want to
make an extra copy of the image, but I got around this
problem by using a little pointer trick those of you
who have read the Pointer Tutorial already know about:

I've also added an AXES keyword, which can also be
spelled as "AXIS" as an aid my own personal finger
memory problems. This keyword will add a set of axes
to the image. There are several additional keywords
that pertain to the axes properties, etc.
