I can reproduce the problem with gfortran 4.1 to 4.3, but gfortran 4.4
works (prints out 664579 prime numbers and shows no error with
valgrind)

The version of g95 which I have also works.

NAG f95 fails. Or to be precise: I decided to kill the invoked C
compiler after it consumed 2.5 GB of memory.

I can reproduce this even with the latest ifort version.
