Re: How to determine whether or not there exists a directory

In flibs, I tried another hack.
- Try to go into the directory with platform-specific "cd",
- If it failed, the directory does "probably" not exist,
- If it successed, the directory does "probably" exist.
But that trick does not provides explicit informations for
directory access ("ugorwx" on Unix).

See in the m_vfile module, at line 1655 (vfile_isdirectory_vstring):

It works fine under Windows, but I did not try it under Linux.
