128 bit hardware sup****t?

by Andrew Smith <bigtits@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 24, 2008 at 08:45 PM

Question for Steve,

Intel info says:

Intel® Visual Fortran Compiler 10.1, Professional and Standard Editions
for Windows*

Sup****t for the Latest Multi-Core Processors
The Intel Fortran Compiler provides optimization sup****t for the very
latest multi-core processors, including:
	Intel® Core™2 Duo processor etc...

Since these processors have 128 floating point SSE should we expect
improved quad precision speed over using emulation ?

Andy
