Thank you for the Info. I have two CVF systems, one bought two years
ago on my W2000 Professional, and the much older one which I put and
tested on my laptop XP, just in case. Turns out that one woks fine.
So I found what I was looking for on the XP then found most of the
routes in the Develpoper Sutio on the W2000 were shaded as not
available.
I found I had to have a projct actually in place, with a workplace
before the I could get to
Project - Proj.Settings -Fortran Tab - Categories - General - Fortran
Data - LRECL
Pheu! No wonder I couldn't remember all that!
You see why I really like MS F77.
I just say at the prompt "For1 myprog" and I get a list of errors
(possible but rare) or it's done!

Would you believe I never tried that! Wa looking for "options" (all
