For the SAT they are now allowed (or maybe required) to have a
calculator for some parts, though other parts one isn't allowed.
Graphing calculators are allowed, but I don't know that any problems
require a graph.

For some AP tests, a graphing calculator is required.  The questions
may at least assume that you have one, though a good scientific
calculator without graphing ability should be good enough.
