ANSI.SYS still exist. If you are doing development in
a company that also has standard office automation, you may not
be able to install it the way you like.
Either MS Windows is unsafe, or you can't do a lot of perfectly
reasonable things (like swapping the caps lock and the control
key). I'm accessing VMS at the moment, with a control key at
the wrong (non vt100) position.
Would trade my MS-box for a vt100 anytime ;-).
