There have?  I know you post snapshots, but AFAICT there hasn't been a
release since 0.6.2, which appears to be from August of 2003.  All three
of the Linux distros that I have used seem to still be at 0.6.2.

I don't usually agree with Aleksej, but this *is* annoying.  There has
been a bunch of neat stuff in CVS for a while, but if you use any of it,
most gforth users won't be able to run your programs.

And while I wouldn't go so far as to call the system "broken", building
from CVS or snapshots isn't necessarily a simple thing.  I don't think I
know of anyone who has had it build cleanly the first time they tried.
So asking someone to install a snapshot of CVS just to mess with
something I'm working on isn't usually worth it.
